Oversized Custom UV Printed Leather or Acrylic Hat Patches - Bulk Packages KC

These Custom Logo Patches for Trucker Hats are UV printed on leather to give a vibrant and unique image on the leatherette which is then laser cut precisely around the image and are great for hats, backpacks and anything you can imagine. These are our OVERSIZED patches — designed for customers who need a larger size beyond our standard 6" square inch limit. These are great for hats like 7 panel, flatbills and clients who really like to make a statement. As with all patches, we typically recommend about an 1/8" contour of leather to show around the image like the images shown. Upon purchase you will need to send the high res image you would like to have printed along with the size specifications you prefer. Since these are custom oversized patches, please specify your exact dimensions when sending your file. Your image should be high resolution, preferably in a vector file format (SVG, AI, etc) which allows us to easily convert it to a cut file. If your file is not considered high res or needs significant work there may be an additional charge of $15 to adjust your artwork.  

We only use Lonestar Adhesive leatherette as their product is thicker, more durable, and has a stronger adhesive than anyone else on the market.

Leatherette is a vegan leather with heat activated adhesive already on the back.

Application instructions:

1. Preheat hat in hat press for 30 seconds at 325F with thin silicone sheet between the hat and platen
2. While heating hat, heat the back of the patch with a heat gun on low for 15 to 30 seconds until you see the adhesive change and the patch may begin to curl (reflective, more tacky) (note: it's a heat gun not a blow drier). This shows that the print has become more pliable and ready to attach to the hat.
3. When 30 seconds is over remove the hat press heater and silicone pad from the hat and apply the patch to the hat in desired location, careful it's hot. 
4. Press again for 30 seconds with light to medium pressure with a silicone pad on top of the patch and hat. Check edges of the patch and make sure it stuck, if not adhered on the edges, repress the hat until you get desired results.

• After purchase we will contact you to discuss your artwork and patch size requirements.
• Typically we do an 1/8" contour exposing the leather underneath creating a patch 1/4" larger than your design. If you prefer something different reach out and and discuss.
• Default overall patch size is limited to 6" square dimensions (2"x3" for example)
• Vector files are best but we can work with high resolution bitmaps as well.
• Hats are not included
• Order Name should be reflective of the name of the artwork or logo, please include this even if you have previously sent us the design
• If "Other" is selected, this material is subject to availability and possibly longer processing time. A color swatch is included in the photo gallery to select your color. Enter it in the "Other Color" text box
