Ink and Ember is local to Shepherdsville (just south of Louisville) and we offer UV Printing, Embroidery, Lasering and apparel.  We specialize in custom leather hat patches and branded promotional items.

Since 2013, Travis and Dana Midkiff have built and operated multiple successful handmade businesses. A few years into that journey, they invested in a Trotec laser engraving machine —our business was born.

What began as creating blank craft supplies and personalized gifts for friends and family quickly evolved into something bigger. We discovered a true passion for helping fellow entrepreneurs stand out, build their brands, and grow with confidence. As that vision expanded, we made the decision to evolve as well—leading to the creation of a new brand identity.

Ink and Ember now operates two UV printers capable of full-color personalization on nearly any surface, alongside our laser engraving equipment and a commercial embroidery machine. With continued plans to expand our products and services, we offer a wide range of customizable solutions—from embroidered polos and trucker hats to yard signs, keychains, and more.
