Custom Texture Raised UV Printed Leatherette Patches - Wholesale Packages KC

These texture built UV Printed patches are unique way to bring your brand to life. We over print our UV Ink onto the patch material creating an embossed effect much like PVC patches and with multiple leatherette colors to choose, there is surely a color to coordinate with your design. Our patches are a maximum of 3" wide or tall, whichever is greatest depending on your design. Typically we recommend about an 1/8" contour of leather to show around it like the images shown. Upon purchase you will need to send the high res image you would like to have printed along with the size specifications you prefer, any other sizes over the standard six square inches contact us directly. Your image should be high resolution, preferably in a vector file format (SVG, AI, etc) which allows us to easily convert it to a cut file. If your file is not considered high res or needs significant work there may be an additional charge of $15 to adjust your artwork.  

We only use Lonestar Adhesive leatherette as their product is thicker, more durable, and has a stronger adhesive than anyone else on the market.

Leatherette is a vegan leather with heat activated adhesive already on the back.

Application instructions:

1. Preheat hat in hat press for 30 seconds at 325F with thin silicone sheet between the hat and platen
2. While heating hat, heat the back of the patch with a heat gun on low for 15 to 30 seconds until you see the adhesive change and the patch may begin to curl (reflective, more tacky) (note: it's a heat gun not a blow drier). This shows that the print has become more pliable and ready to attach to the hat.
3. When 30 seconds is over remove the hat press heater and silicone pad from the hat and apply the patch to the hat in desired location, careful it's hot. 
4. Press again for 30 seconds with light to medium pressure with a silicone pad on top of the patch and hat. Check edges of the patch and make sure it stuck, if not adhered on the edges, repress the hat until you get desired results.

• Typically we do an 1/8" contour exposing the leather underneath creating a patch 1/4" larger than your design. But we can cut on the edge (also known as a "kiss cut"). If you prefer something different reach out and and discuss.
• Default overall patch size is limited to ~6" square dimensions (2"x3" for example). Anything over this may incur additional material surcharge. If needed, we will contact you and let you know.
• Vector files are best but we can work with high resolution bitmaps as well.
• Hats are not included
• Order Name should be reflective of the name of the artwork or logo, please include this even if you have previously sent us the design
• If "Other" is selected, this material is subject to availability and possibly longer processing time. A color swatch is included in the photo gallery to select your color. Enter it in the "Other Color" text box
